UGANDA – SENTE FAIR TRADE ORGANIC
This cacao is grown by 600 smallholder farmers united in one of the first cacao cooperatives of Bundibugyo region that was able to “differentiate” its cacao from the bulk market and directly export cacao directly without any local “middlemen” involved. Member farmers benefit from centralised handling of their cacao harvest to develop a unique flavour profile with notes of roasted hazelnut and sesame combined with sweetness of dates and toffee. This cacao is a true crowd pleaser!
