CONGO – ITURI SIGNATURE
Cacao farmers in the Ituri province in the northeast of Congo grow their cacao in agroforestry under the canopy of shade trees. Ituri Signature, a special project aiming to combine improve the livelihood of the local community, teach new post-harvesting techniques and develop forest conservation is a classic Congolese cacao with a chocolaty body, a sweet vanilla taste and a cookie-like aftertaste.
