PERU – JUNIN ORGANIC
This cacao comes from smallholder farming families in southern Peru, specifically in the district of Pangoa. The COAS cooperative plays a vital role in improving the livelihoods of its members: it federates more than 500 smallholder cacao-farming families, including indigenous Asháninka communities. Their signature cacao is a balanced mild chocolaty profile with a creamy texture, fresh green notes of pineapple and nutty undertone.
